Author of Hatshepsut's Mummy
Fayyaad Hendricks is a 30-year old aspiring novelist, currently employed as a technical writer in Cape Town. He has been writing short stories, poems, and novels since the age of 8. However, this is his first time in print. He has at various times been a personal tutor, IT technician, primary school teacher, webmaster, and a store supervisor in a bookshop. His interests include playing Final Fantasy, reading extensively, writing, drawing and painting, playing piano and guitar, and learning foreign languages like Japanese, Hindi, Spanish, and PHP. He figures that someone somewhere might eventually understand what he has to say. He also thinks that Nobuo Uematsu is the greatest composer in existence. He is happily married to a wonderful, supportive, amazing Zimbabwean lady (who is also his ruthless editor and greatest fan), and they have a 1-year old son. Fayyaad also writes regular games reviews in Something Wicked. | FAYYAAD'S WORK FOR SW: HATSHEPSUT'S MUMMY - Originally published in SW#1 | |
