Abigail Godsell is a 16 year-old South African high school student with a passion for the shadows.

She’s an aspiring science fiction and fantasy writer, and fan of the works of Neil Gaiman, Garth Nix, Sergei Lukyanenko and Phillip K Dick. Making Waves was inspired by speculation on what actually lives in the depths of Emmerentia Dam, and the source of the disturbingly large bubbles one sees during canoeing lessons.
