Shan illustrates Domenico Pisanti's She Wrote by Night.
Shan Fischer studied for a Diploma in Commercial Art through Intec College and then went on to the Pietermaritzburg campus of UKZN where she completed a BA Degree in Visual Art majoring in Printmaking.
She has had an array of odd jobs, from a life of slavery as a cashier to working as an illustrator for the Entomology Department to a laboratory and research assistant, cloning pine trees, as well as a little freelancing as an illustrator, photographer, journalist and cartoonist.
She is 24 and lives in Durban as is currently working as a concept artist for a small company in Westville
